Work Environment

This remote position provides flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, typically from 9 AM to 4 PM. Occasional flexibility may be required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to inform personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while maintaining a compassionate approach to foster client engagement.
• Document clinical encounters and maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and relevant regulations.
• Work closely with a cohesive team of mental health professionals to ensure optimal patient care, participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, enhancing their understanding and facilitating informed decision-making.
• Stay abreast of the latest mental health research, incorporating findings into practice to improve service delivery and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a vibrant and diverse client base, representing a variety of backgrounds and mental health needs. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will engage with individuals experiencing a spectrum of mental health challenges, emphasizing empowerment and recovery in each therapeutic relationship. You will play an instrumental role in guiding your clients towards improved emotional well-being and mental resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice in New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic techniques with the capacity to customize approaches based on individual client requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with the team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, allowing for adaptive client care strategies and interventions.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience providing mental health counseling in community settings or outpatient facilities will be preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records systems and a passion for continuous learning within the mental health field will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
