Work Environment

As an Occupational Therapist in our onsite rehabilitation center, you will work within a state-of-the-art facility staffed with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Your typical working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' functional abilities and needs to develop individualized therapy plans aimed at enhancing their daily living skills.
  • Deliver personalized therapy sessions focused on improving mobility, coordination, and independence in residents, utilizing therapeutic techniques and modalities that meet industry standards.
  • Regularly monitor residents’ progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary and ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including physical therapists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
  • Engage with residents and their families to provide education on home exercises and adaptive equipment to facilitate improved outcomes and adherence to therapy programs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of residents within our rehabilitation center, many of whom are recovering from surgeries, accidents, or chronic conditions affecting their physical capabilities. Your expertise will not only assist them in reclaiming their mobility but also enable them to regain their confidence and the ability to engage with the world around them.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Oregon.
  • At least two years of hands-on experience providing therapeutic services in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation or assisted living facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of various occupational therapy techniques, evidence-based practices, and relevant EMR systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working specifically within a rehabilitation center, focusing on geriatric care or post-acute rehabilitation therapy.
  • Familiarity with adaptive technologies or special equipment utilized in occupational therapy.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
