Feelings Forward Counseling Center is seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our expanding team. This full-time remote position empowers you to focus primarily on delivering high-quality therapy services while we handle the operational aspects of your practice. We are located in Portland, Oregon, but welcome therapists from various locations who are seeking a supportive and collaborative remote working environment.

Work Environment

This role is structured for remote engagement, allowing you the flexibility to balance your personal life while fulfilling professional obligations. You will have access to an outpatient office setting when client meetings require in-person interaction. Our practice prioritizes a collaborative, supportive community, where therapists can share insights, continuously learn, and evolve their practice. With flexible scheduling options, therapists can set their hours to accommodate their lifestyle—standard hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but we welcome creative scheduling that works for you.

Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Feelings Forward Counseling Center, your primary focus will be on delivering therapeutic services to our clients. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, followed by developing personalized treatment plans.
• Providing effective telehealth or in-person behavioral health services to individuals and groups.
• Documenting client interactions and treatment progress accurately in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Engaging with clients in evidence-based treatment modalities that resonate with their unique challenges.
• Staying updated on best practices and maintaining legal compliance in all interactions.
• Participating in our ongoing educational initiatives to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve supporting diverse client populations dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, family conflict, and life transitions. At Feelings Forward Counseling Center, we foster a safe space for clients to express their feelings and develop coping strategies. By implementing a client-centric approach, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful therapeutic relationships and facilitate transformative change in their lives.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Possess a current license to practice as an LMFT or equivalent in your state.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills and demonstrate a commitment to ethical practice.
• Be familiar with the DSM V diagnostic criteria and the ability to apply it in clinical situations.
• Show evidence of sound judgment and effective crisis intervention capabilities.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are advantageous:

• Proficiency in providing telehealth services while utilizing technology such as Google G-suite and TheraNest.
• Experience with various evidence-based treatment modalities (including DBT, CBT, EFT, etc.).
• A background in marketing strategies for therapy practices, contributing to practice growth.

Compensation and Benefits

We value our therapists and provide competitive compensation. The annual salary range for this position is USD 90,000 – 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, we offer:
