Position Overview

Flexibility First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and motivated full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Anaheim, California. In this crucial role, you will be an essential partner in patient recovery, focusing on restoring mobility and enhancing the quality of life for individuals seeking rehabilitation services. Flexibility First Physical Therapy is known for its commitment to delivering outstanding physical therapy services within a state-of-the-art, 5,000 square foot outpatient facility. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that prioritizes patient care and incorporates the latest advancements in sports medicine. Our cohesive team of professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), collaborates to provide individualized support to our patients, fostering a culture of healing and empowerment.

Work Environment

The work setting is an on-site outpatient clinic, where you will operate during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our facility is well-equipped with modern rehabilitation equipment and comfortable waiting areas, designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for our clients. You can expect to manage a diverse patient demographics primarily consisting of individuals with private medical insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand and address each patient’s specific goals and requirements.
  • Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and effective therapy sessions.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic techniques, addressing mobility and pain management.
  • Utilize cost-effective intervention strategies that may include exercises, stretching, and manual therapy to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Advise patients on non-surgical alternatives and interventions to support their recovery journey.
  • Encourage patient motivation and adherence to treatment plans through continuous support and engagement.
  • Monitor patient progress and document all treatments and outcomes accurately in our EMR system, such as WebPT.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to streamline patient care and referrals as needed.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes to adapt strategies, ensuring the best possible results for each patient.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients seeking outpatient rehabilitation services, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your skills in building relationships will be essential in understanding patients' backgrounds, encouraging their commitment to treatment, and ultimately helping them regain their maximum functional capacity.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in exercise program design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document patient care effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, particularly focusing on rehabilitation.
  • Background in sports medicine or physical fitness is a plus.
  • Experience with patient education and community outreach initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and well-being. Benefits include:
