Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Garland, TX, responsible for driving membership growth and revenue while delivering a high-quality experience to prospective and current members. This role oversees daily sales operations, including managing the sales team, setting and tracking sales targets, and ensuring consistent follow-up on leads and inquiries. The Sales Manager conducts tours of the club, presents membership options, and communicates the value of Fitness Connection’s amenities and services in a clear, member-focused way. This position collaborates with club leadership on local marketing initiatives, community outreach, and promotional events to increase brand awareness and new membership opportunities. The Sales Manager also monitors performance metrics, provides coaching and training for sales staff, and ensures that all interactions align with Fitness Connection’s standards for inclusivity, integrity, and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales leadership or membership sales in fitness, retail, hospitality, or related customer-facing environments.
  • Strong skills in team management, coaching, and performance tracking to guide and motivate a sales team toward goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse prospective and current members.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve conversion rates and retention.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site environment with a focus on customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM systems, point-of-sale tools, and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets) used to manage leads and sales activities.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support club operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Interest in health, fitness, and wellness, with a commitment to promoting an inclusive and motivating club environment.
