Job Summary

The Property Care Inspector’s primary responsibility is to inspect homes after the guest departs and Contractors have cleaned the property. The Property Inspector is responsible for working with the Contractors to complete cleanings in a consistent and timely manner. This includes but is not limited to property inspections, call back tasking and completion and direct communication with Housekeeping, Property Managers, Owner Services and Guest Services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in insuring homes meet Resort cleaning standards by inspecting properties after departures and after cleans have been completed.
  • Performs departure inspections and informs Owner Services when property becomes available for occupancy.
  • Requests housekeeping callbacks to correct cleaning deficiencies.
  • Checks for thermostat settings, lights turned off and insures doors are locked.
  • Reports maintenance issues through task generation in Guesty Application.
  • Inspects condition of home furnishings and reports damage or issue(s) to Owner Services.
  • Walks garage and exterior perimeter of property for trash, broken items, and landscaping issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Based on experience, job performance and ability to accept additional responsibility. Enrollment in the company’s health insurance plan is available beginning the month after completing two months of full-time employment. Employee is eligible to use PTO after 90 days of full-time employment. The amenities of Fripp Island Resort can be made available upon supervisor’s approval and include discounts on golf, tennis, lodging, excursions, marina, restaurants and activity center. The position offers a $30 per month phone allowance and mileage for miles driven for company business utilizing a personal vehicle.
