Additionally, this position requires effective verbal and written communication in Business Spanish to successfully serve and support Spanish-speaking customers. This position requires on-site work. QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE | SKILLS | AVAILABILITY To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The items listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities necessary for this position. Bachelor's degree with a business-related emphasis is required . Accounting, Finance, or Economics major preferred.

3+ years of banking experience required. 5+ years of client relationship experience preferred. Candidate with established connections and engagement in the community preferred Bilingual speaking (full professional proficiency) in Spanish/English required .

Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key, and utilization of the internet is required . Commitment to demonstrating First Security's Core 5 values with customers and coworkers. HOURS OF AVAILABILITY: Regularly Scheduled Hours/Week: 40 (+) hours per week | Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm | *Extended working hours may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Originate and service commercial and consumer loans in compliance with policy and regulations. Interview applicants, assess creditworthiness, and manage the full loan process from application to closing. Communicate complex or sensitive information with clarity and professionalism; serve as a liaison for Spanish-speaking customers by bridging language barriers and supporting financial service needs.

Maintain accurate documentation and monitor credit quality. Approve loans within limits or refer to committee; ensure compliance with laws and bank standards. Develop new business through community involvement, networking, and proactive outreach.

Cross sell bank products and make quality referrals to other business lines. Stay current on lending policies, regulations, and product knowledge; manage delinquent accounts as needed. Collaborate with the Market President and management to drive business development goals and implement strategies that enhance First Security Bank's community visibility.

Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality. Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier, and develop proficiency with internal banking systems. Maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with occasional extended hours when necessary.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Possess sufficient mobility to work in a standard office setting. Perform repetitive hand, arm, wrist, and finger movements while handling currency, documents, and/or office equipment. Substantial time may be spent on the telephone, operating computers, reaching, sitting, and/or standing while occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

The employee must have the ability to speak and hear well enough to carry on customer interactions, conversations, and presentations both in person and over telecommunications. Have near/far visual acuity to identify customers, currency, and reading materials in printed or electronic formats. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds.

Ability to hold a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle that can be used for business travel purposes.
