Position Overview

The Expressive Expression Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will be conducted remotely, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining the highest quality of patient care. Work Environment

As a remote role, this position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being connected to a supportive network of colleagues and supervisors. You will utilize virtual communication tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client interactions and document treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with new clients to accurately identify their mental health concerns and establish therapeutic goals.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client input, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, integrating culturally responsive techniques that resonate with diverse clientele.
• Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs, documenting all findings in the EHR system.
• Provide referrals to external healthcare providers when appropriate, collaborating with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Actively engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions and workshops to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
• Maintain ethical standards and professional boundaries, ensuring client confidentiality is upheld at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals coping with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and you are expected to demonstrate cultural competence in your approach, ensuring sensitivity and effectiveness in treatment methods.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience, providing services in a relevant mental health setting.
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varying backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience facilitating both in-person and virtual therapy sessions; familiarity with digital counseling platforms is a plus.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary team efforts, demonstrating collaborative treatment planning and execution.
• Proven track record of using EHR systems effectively for managing patient documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
