Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to clients facing mental health challenges in the context of substance abuse recovery.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that align with best practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to administer effective interventions.
• Maintain meticulous, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated patient care across various services.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health advocacy and available resources for support.
• Stay informed about current research and adapt interventions and practices to incorporate the latest evidence-based strategies.
• Manage your caseload effectively, achieving treatment goals while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with individuals dealing with substance use disorders and mental health issues related to end-of-life care in a hospice setting. This role entails understanding the unique challenges faced by patients and their families during this vulnerable time. By applying compassionate care and targeted interventions, you will help improve their overall quality of life and mental well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, along with a valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, particularly in the area of substance abuse therapy, is essential.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic techniques and interventions is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills are necessary for effective teamwork.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of clinical experience is mandatory, candidates with additional experience in hospice care or advanced treatment methodologies will be favorably considered. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient management systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
