A day in this role

Begin with a work order in one hand and a schematic in the other. You’ll review drawings, gather materials, and build out electrical control panels piece by piece—mounting components and subassemblies, routing and terminating wiring, and validating your work to UL 508A standards. Throughout the build, you’ll use hand and power tools alongside testing instrumentation to verify quality. You’ll log labor hours and parts usage in our ERP system, then wrap up by cleaning and maintaining your equipment, machinery, and workstation so it’s ready for tomorrow.

What you’ll do

• Assemble electrical control systems by installing components, subassemblies, and wiring to UL 508A requirements.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials and assembly steps.
• Use hand and power tools and testing instrumentation proficiently.
• Record production data—labor hours and parts consumed—within the ERP system.
• Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and workstations daily.

Preferred extras

• Field experience wiring and commissioning electrical control systems.
• HMI, PLC, Servo, or VFD programming experience at any level.
