Job Summary:
The Career Development Coordinator is a new position that plays a central role in launching and operating the new Sewell Social Sciences SuccessWorks Gateway space - a high traffic, high energy space - and will serve as a welcoming first point of contact for students and a key partner to academic departments housed in the building. This position blends career advising, collaborative programming, and site and space coordination to support the career development needs of L&S students. The core function of this role is helping direct questions to the right place: the coordinator will field student and departmental inquiries and offer warm referrals to SuccessWorks colleagues or campus services. - Educates or advises students and recent alumni individually or in groups through various mediums about career exploration, self-assessment, skills, materials development, and career decisions
- May identify and maintain a professional network of employers or other stakeholders to facilitate career exploration and employment opportunities for students
- Oversees daily operations of the SuccessWorks Gateway space in Sewell Social Sciences ensuring it remains a welcoming, functional, and well-maintained hub for student engagement.
Department:

The SuccessWorks team is an open, highly engaged, and collaborative community. https://successworks.wisc.edu/
Compensation:
