Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals, couples, and families to identify mental health issues and make informed treatment recommendations.
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment issues related to separation or divorce.
  • Leading therapeutic sessions with couples and families, ensuring a supportive environment where open communication is encouraged.
  • Providing individual counseling to family members to facilitate personal growth and healing.
  • Documenting all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and our organizational policies.
  • Participating in clinical meetings and supervision to continuously enhance your practice and share valuable insights with colleagues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with a variety of challenges such as:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse.
  • Physical and psychological trauma.
  • Grief and loss recovery.
  • Family members dealing with conflicts such as sibling rivalry and communication breakdowns.
  • Resilient adjustment during significant life events like divorce, blended family transitions, and more.

This varied caseload allows you to leverage your skills and expertise to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be considered advantageous:

  • Prior experience working in teletherapy or remote counseling settings.
  • Expertise in areas such as high-conflict families, blended families, or trauma-informed care.
  • Training in evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or solution-focused therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
