Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Empathic Pathways Counseling, you will:

• Conduct both individual and couples therapy sessions, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate discussions that promote understanding and healing among family members, addressing conflicts and improving family dynamics.
• Provide specialized therapy for a range of issues, including but not limited to:
• Alcohol abuse
• Physical or psychological abuse
• Grief and loss
• Family conflicts, including sibling rivalry and cut-offs
• Job-related stress and other medical issues
• Challenges faced by blended families and issues surrounding separation and divorce
• Communication difficulties within family settings
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices to enhance patient outcomes and ensure high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents, providing tailored mental health support that fosters healthy behaviors and coping strategies. Your efforts will significantly contribute to our goal of uniting behavioral health professionals to create a more fulfilling life for our clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
