Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Empathic Pathways Counseling, you will:

  • Conduct both individual and couples therapy sessions, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Facilitate discussions that promote understanding and healing among family members, addressing conflicts and improving family dynamics.
  • Provide specialized therapy for a range of issues, including but not limited to:
    • Alcohol abuse
    • Physical or psychological abuse
    • Grief and loss
    • Family conflicts, including sibling rivalry and cut-offs
    • Job-related stress and other medical issues
    • Challenges faced by blended families and issues surrounding separation and divorce
    • Communication difficulties within family settings
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices to enhance patient outcomes and ensure high standards of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents, providing tailored mental health support that fosters healthy behaviors and coping strategies. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
