Job description

Position Overview

Residential Therapists provide individual or group therapy to Adolescent clients. Therapists collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting with other Emily Program clinicians to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and their family.

Schedule

  • Full Time (40hr/wk)
  • Monday through Friday 8/4:30 or 9-5:30 (hours generally in that range)
    open to working up to two evenings per week (~6:30-7pm)
    rotating holidays
    very occasional weekend coverage

Compensation Range:

  • Pre-Independently Licensed Therapists: Starting salary range between $50,000-$65,000
  • Independently Licensed Therapists: Starting salary range between $65,000-$85,000

Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position

How Therapists Empower Recovery

  • Develops, implements and coordinates services and monitors and evaluates individualized treatment plans
  • Conducts assigned group counseling sessions and therapeutic meal support
  • Collaborate with Emily Program Staff, community professionals, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation in compliance with The Emily Program policies and regulatory standards and may participate in quality assessment/peer review of documentation
  • Maintains and enhances knowledge of current clinical practice, strategies, and developments through participation in his or her professional organization; attending related seminars, workshops, and conferences; and reviewing literature

Therapist I:

Education Qualifications:   

  • Current Provisional or Associate licensure required in the state of employment required.  
  • Master's degree in a behavioral sciences field required.    

Professional Qualifications:  

  • Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required.  
  • DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred.  
  • Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred  
  • Computer proficiency required.   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.   

Therapist II

Education / License Qualifications: 

  • Current independent licensure in the state of employment required. 
  • Master's degree in a behavioral sciences field required.  

Professional Qualifications: 

  • Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required. 
  • DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred. 
  • Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred 
  • Computer proficiency required.
