Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team at Emerald Point Psychological Solutions. This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide high-quality mental health care from the comfort of your own home, or any location with internet access. Our ideal candidate will bring 1-3+ years of clinical experience, contributing to our mission of promoting mental health and well-being.

About the Organization

At Emerald Point Psychological Solutions, we are proud to be a dedicated partner for thousands of mental healthcare counselors across the United States. Our organization is powered by a passionate team of mental health advocates and healthcare veterans who facilitate a supportive environment for private practices. We provide large-scale referral networks, comprehensive administrative services, and community supports that allow counselors to focus on what they do best—helping clients. By alleviating the burdens of credentialing, billing, and insurance claims, we empower our LPCs to choose when, where, and with whom they work.

Work Environment

This role is designed for a remote setting, offering flexibility in your work schedule. You will be part of a virtual team where communication is streamlined through secure teletherapy platforms that enable effective client interactions. Regular supervision and professional development opportunities ensure continuous learning and improvement, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to accurately understand clients' needs and develop effective treatment plans tailored to their circumstances.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions to address a range of mental health issues.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to deliver holistic care and ensure coordinated treatment for your clients.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and relevant client information that aligns with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate actively in clinical supervision and engaging training sessions to continuously enhance your professional skills through emerging research and best practices.
  • Stay informed about current trends and developments in the mental health field, ensuring you are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Uphold ethical guidelines while maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with legal requirements and organizational standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Telehealth LPC at Emerald Point, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. This role is critical in supporting individuals facing various mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex emotional and behavioral issues. Your expertise will play a significant role in positively impacting their lives and fostering resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field is required.
  • A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in your state is a must.
  • Experience practicing independently without supervision, demonstrating your proficiency and confidence in clinical settings.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate approach, allowing you to build strong therapeutic relationships with your clients.
  • Strong computer literacy skills to effectively utilize teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a clinical setting, especially with telehealth delivery.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and continuous learning in the mental health field.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with your caseload and experience.
  • Flexible work hours enable you to create a harmonious balance between personal and professional responsibilities.
  • Access to performance-based incentives that reward outstanding service and contributions to the organization.
  • Supportive virtual work environment that prioritizes mental health and wellness.
  • Opportunities for professional development and mentorship to enhance your career trajectory.
Career Growth Opportunities

Emerald Point is committed to fostering your professional growth. With access to continuous training and mentorship, you can advance your skills and take on new roles within the organization, contributing to expanded responsibilities and leadership opportunities. We encourage our counselors to pursue additional certifications and areas of specialization that can further enhance your expertise.
