About the Organization

Emerald Point Psychological Solutions is a leading telehealth provider spearheading innovative solutions in mental healthcare. Our organization values each member of our team and is committed to supporting Licensed Professional Counselors by providing robust administrative structures, referral systems, and access to a vibrant community of mental health professionals. This support enables counselors to focus solely on their clinical practice without the burdens of administrative tasks such as credentialing, billing, and managing insurance claims, fostering a culture of empowerment and professional growth.

Work Environment

At Emerald Point Psychological Solutions, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and collaborative virtual work environment. Our telehealth model allows counselors to connect with clients via secure digital platforms, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for both clinicians and patients. Additionally, you can manage your schedule and choose your work location, enhancing work-life balance. The minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and an active LPC license, ensuring a high standard of professionalism across our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ psychological needs, developing tailored treatment plans to address those needs effectively.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. You may use techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) based on what’s appropriate for each client.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
  • Document all client interactions meticulously, including progress notes and treatment plans, while adhering to organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage actively in professional development through clinical supervision and training opportunities, reinforcing your skills and knowledge in the ever-evolving mental health field.
  • Stay informed of emerging trends, best practices, and research related to mental health treatment to ensure high-quality care.
  • Maintain strict ethical standards and confidentiality, aligning your practice with legal requirements and organizational policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele seeking mental health support through telehealth services. This may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other psychological challenges. The flexibility of telehealth allows you to reach patients in both urban and rural settings who may have limited access to traditional therapeutic resources, significantly enhancing client outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon or the state in which you reside.
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
  • Strong computer skills are essential for effective use of teletherapy platforms and documentation systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a telehealth setting, especially with familiar platforms that facilitate remote consultations.
  • Background in specific therapeutic modalities that address various mental health concerns.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • Flexible work schedule allowing you to create a balance between personal and professional life.
  • Comprehensive support including secure teletherapy platforms to enhance client engagement and care.
  • Regular opportunities for performance-based incentives, further encouraging growth and excellence.
  • Continuous learning opportunities through trainings, workshops, and access to mental health resources.
