Job description

HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Minimum Qualifications and experience
  • Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology (or any field of degree that meets the guidelines for CBHI providers MCE credentialing criteria) with training in working with youths and families, including training in family therapy, preferred.
  • All professional staff will perform to the levels outlined in the Department of Public Health and Insurer regulations governing the delivery of the particular service delivered by the professional staff, excluding those reserved for physicians.
  • Professional staff are responsible for the delivery of the full range of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic services.
  • Qualified staff is certified to administer the CANS-MA version.

Minimum skills and knowledge
  • Ability to communicate with other mental health professionals, other community professionals, such as a physician, attorneys, social workers, etc.
  • Ability to use an electronic health record.
  • Ability to use electronic health record to meet guidelines and timelines regarding reports and other paperwork.
  • Knowledge of professional ethics as it relates to providing mental health counseling.
  • Knowledge of environmental and cultural factors inherent in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform a minimum of 10 billable hours per week.
  • Provide individual and family therapy services. Provide Initial Assessment, CANS, ACORN, CRAFFT, treatment plans, progress notes and maintain log service, documentation of all contact with client and collaterals; attend team meeting/activities pertaining to assigned case/s.
  • Get authorization from insurances to start and continue treatment.
  • Ensure integration of all program services regarding client.
  • Accurate, timely, thorough completion of all documentation related to client participation in treatment.
  • Attend personnel meeting/s and weekly supervision/s.
  • Supervisions and all meetings must be conducted either via Google Meet or in person, phone calls are not permitted.
  • Collaborate closely and affectively with all other members of the treatment team.
  • Participate in quality improvement and assurance projects related to the program.
  • Consistent delivery of high quality, culturally competent, and appropriate mental health treatment to
    assigned case/s.
