Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop customized treatment plans that align with each client’s specific mental health needs and treatment goals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, accurately aligning methodologies with clinical best practices.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring seamless integration into our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams consisting of psychologists, social workers, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Provide ongoing support and counseling to clients facing challenges related to stress management, workplace conflicts, and life transitions.
• Participate actively in continuous education and training opportunities to stay proficient in the latest developments and research within mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will support come from a variety of backgrounds, facing a wide array of personal challenges. Your role will involve working with individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and interpersonal relationships. Through tailored interventions, you will help empower clients to overcome barriers and achieve fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
• At least two years of clinical counseling experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in licensed settings.
• In-depth knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal standards governing clinical practice, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client base.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and digital platforms relevant to healthcare delivery.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse.
• A proven track record of successful collaboration within a healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Experience utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.

• Competitive annual salary range from USD 60,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
