Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and create tailored treatment plans.
• Implement diverse treatment strategies, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any necessary adjustments to therapy plans, ensuring precise communication within the healthcare team.
• Monitor and reassess patient responses to therapy to remain flexible and adaptive in goal setting and treatment adjustments.
• Advise on and fit patients with appropriate assistive devices to promote independence and functional mobility.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective therapeutic practices and exercises to improve self-management and recovery.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy by engaging in professional development activities including workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients at Elixir Life Physical Therapy come from varied backgrounds and may require rehabilitation for post-operative recovery, physical injuries, neurological disorders, or pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.

• Ability to adapt to the evolving demands of patient care with a flexible and agile mindset.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience is not necessary, a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in home care therapy or treating a variety of patient populations is a plus.
