Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, to facilitate client progress.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, fostering community and connection among participants facing similar mental health challenges.
• Coordinate care with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring comprehensive treatment and collaboration across disciplines.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, effectively managing acute situations with sensitivity and skill.
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment processes, and local resources to enhance their understanding and empowerment.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client progress and interventions, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Engage actively in regular team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and strategies to best meet the needs of clients.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment to continually elevate the quality of care delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Outpatient Therapist, you will work with a diverse clientele, providing support to individuals struggling with various mental health disorders, including those recovering from substance abuse. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of three years of experience in mental health therapy, demonstrating a strong foundation of clinical skills.
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective, data-driven treatment plans.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy across diverse populations, adjusting approaches to cater to various needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment in clinical decision-making.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient setting, particularly within detox or addiction recovery programs.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies, enhancing service delivery in a virtual environment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in team-based care models, focusing on holistic patient well-being.
