Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ conditions accurately and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to guide individual, couples, and family sessions effectively.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that create a community environment and foster resilience among participants.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care that meets all aspects of a patient's needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support to patients in mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients about mental illnesses, treatment options, and community resources to empower their recovery journeys.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights for improving therapy outcomes.
• Continuously update your knowledge on the latest research in mental health to incorporate new techniques into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The mental health therapists at Elevance Behavioral Health work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will serve clients facing complex mental health challenges, providing evidence-based interventions in an empathetic manner. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Washington.
• Demonstrable understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Competence in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment strategies.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to varied populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, vital for building rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Strong ethical judgment and decision-making capabilities in clinical settings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in mental health therapy.
• Prior experience working remotely and utilizing telehealth platforms effectively.
• Experience with diverse therapeutic modalities beyond CBT and solution-focused approaches, such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) or mindfulness-based therapies.

Compensation and Benefits

Elevance Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year for full-time therapists. In addition, we provide a robust benefits package, including:
