Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Advancement, the Manager of Philanthropy and Partnerships is responsible for engaging individuals, corporate and community groups, and volunteers. This person is also responsible for stewardship of individual Annual Fund donors who have the capacity to be major donors, coordinates solicitation of all corporate and community donors, engages Auxiliary in volunteer activities and provides support of the Edgewood Fair.

Job Responsibilities
Individual Donor Stewardship and Engagement
• Manage a portfolio of at least 50 Annual Fund Donors with the capacity of becoming major donors
• Develop a menu of engaging stewardship actions that could include tours, updates from programs, and success stories to be shared with donors
• Screen all annual fund donors quarterly through iWave or other platforms to identify those with potential for greater giving
• Have at least two significant contacts with all lapsed donors who gave $500 or more in the previous three years but not the current year
Auxiliary Engagement
• Collaborate with the Director of Advancement to increase sponsorship of the Edgewood Fair
• Coordinate a robust series of client-facing Auxiliary volunteer events
• Collaborate with the Auxiliary on their monthly meetings to have a well-organized agenda and spotlight programs to keep members engaged and motivated
• Ensure that all Auxiliary member records in Raisers Edge (RE) are up to date and accurate
• Serve as the point person on the portal
Community and Corporate Engagement
Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of corporate donors with a specific annual income goal
Manage the Corporate Volunteer Program (CVP) to grow corporate volunteerism through Corporate Impact Days (CIDs), corporate sponsorship activities, and corporate matching gift programs
Develop and manage a donor acquisition program from the corporate volunteers to increase direct donations and matching gifts
Enter and ensure accuracy of RE database and RENxt entries related to gifts from assigned donors and/or prospects, corporate volunteer activities, and other prospective or actual donor involvement
Volunteer Management
• Cultivate relationships with community, church, and school groups to fundraise on Edgewood's behalf or provide awareness and educational opportunities on behalf of Edgewood
• Partner with HR to strategically standardize and grow the volunteer program. Provide corporate or community volunteers to support San Francisco and San Mateo program events when possible. Continue to build strong volunteer relationships with community and corporate partners. Provide volunteer orientations as needed
• Maintain relevant volunteer information as it relates to Edgewood.org and Edgewood collateral
• Provide Director of Advancement with accurate, written, and timely reports of all assigned activities and/or projects
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• At least five years' work experience performing relevant fundraising activities and volunteer management with strong knowledge of corporate sector funding opportunities
• BA or BS from an accredited institution preferred
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills; high standards of integrity, judgment, and confidentiality
• High level of comfort making contact with internal and external clients
• Highly motivated, independent, self-starting, and committed
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities under deadlines and work under pressure
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and familiarity with donor database management systems (Raiser's Edge or similar)
• Ability to work productively with minimal supervision; ability to accept responsibility and accountability
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor volunteers as appropriate
Preferred familiarity with Edgewood and our operations
Salary Information
This position has a salary range of $85,000.00-$89,000.00.
