Dynamic Care Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Senior Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient team in Riverside, California. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will undertake a variety of tasks that directly contribute to patient outcomes, including:

  • Consulting with patients to gather comprehensive information regarding their physical condition, symptoms, and treatment goals.
  • Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and creating customized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
  • Implementing therapeutic exercise techniques and training patients on how to utilize them effectively to promote recovery.
  • Providing hands-on treatments such as massage and manual therapy to relieve pain and enhance mobility.
  • Assisting patients with adaptive equipment usage, such as walkers and wheelchairs, ensuring safety and independence.
  • Regularly documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educating patients and their families about in-home exercise regimens and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with range from children to adults, with various physical impairments resulting from injury, chronic conditions, or post-surgical rehabilitation. Each therapist is encouraged to develop strong relationships with patients, providing not only physical care but also emotional support to foster a positive healing environment. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Senior Physical Therapist role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective patient interactions.
  • Proficiency in using computer-based documentation systems for patient records management.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient needs and scenarios.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience will be considered a strong asset:

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
