Duke Cardiology of Raleigh - 3320 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC

JOB SCHEDULE

Part-Time - 4 days per week. 

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to provide patient and provider support by using ultrasound imaging technologies to aid in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete timely and thorough vascular scans and documentation.
  • Accurate documentation and measurements for procedures performed and studies appropriately assigned.
  • Prepare paperwork for each study and ensure all necessary documentation is available.
  • Stock rooms, maintain a neat and clean working environment and ensure equipment is properly maintained and thoroughly cleaned.
  • Add on studies as requested by providers.
  • Monthly ICAVL reporting.

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)/Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Certification in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS respectively), Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), or CCI Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) certification.
  • Registry eligible candidates must obtain ARDMS/CCI credential within one year of hire date.
  • Individuals cross-trained in echocardiography or working to fulfill clinical experience to meet pre-requisites for credentialing must obtain certification within two years from the start of training.
  • AHA BLS Certification
