Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to establish accurate mental health diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Document ongoing client progress through treatment plan reviews, case notes, and assessments, ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices.

• Manage a caseload of 25-30 client visits weekly, providing individual therapy sessions, family treatment, and facilitating group therapy where required.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by being responsive and attentive to client needs while working in collaboration with a diverse team of professionals.

• Design creative, engaging interventions to help clients set and achieve their therapeutic goals, adapting strategies based on client feedback and progress.

• Cooperate effectively with case managers, families, medical professionals, and educational staff to coordinate client care and support holistic well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a vital member of our therapeutic team, you will work with a wide-ranging clientele, including children, adolescents, couples, and families navigating various mental health challenges. Your expertise in family therapy will play a crucial role in addressing relational dynamics and promoting resilience within the family unit.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

• Strong understanding of family therapy methodologies and commitment to improving mental health service accessibility.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and empathetic interaction with clients and team members.

• A proven ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients while fostering a safe therapeutic environment.

• Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in mental health settings with knowledge of documentation requirements, including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes.

• Familiarity with community resources and fee collection processes during client services.

• Previous work with a diverse client base, demonstrating cultural competency and sensitivity to various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
