Diamond Path Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative team in Fort Collins, Colorado. Work Environment

Your role as an LPC will be situated within a community health clinic focused on outpatient treatment for young adults. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with contemporary tools and resources that enhance therapeutic engagement. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, ensuring a cohesive approach to client care. The typical work schedule is weekdays, Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend obligations, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Diamond Path Counseling, your primary focus will be to support clients in overcoming mental health challenges through the following responsibilities:

  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and supportive group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences, build connections, and learn coping mechanisms from one another.
  • Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one therapy that focuses on empathy and understanding, helping clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe environment.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaboratively create individualized treatment plans that are rooted in the client’s specific needs, incorporating their goals and preferences.
  • Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress, ensuring that care remains adaptive and responsive to their evolving needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and consulting on complex cases to optimize client outcomes through regular communication.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary client focus will be young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating transition periods, mental health challenges, and life changes. Our clients often present with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity exploration. As a counselor, you will play a critical role in supporting their journey toward recovery and autonomy.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Current and valid LPC licensure in Colorado
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with clients and team members
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent and inclusive care
Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with the following experiences will stand out:

  • Previous experience in outpatient settings or community mental health clinics
  • Proficiency in evidence-based practices and treatment modalities

Compensation and Benefits

Diamond Path Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
