What You'll Be Doing:- Supervise DSPs and oversee daily home operations
- Coordinate and assist with personal care, daily routines, and life-skills training
- Ensure proper meal prep, food inventory, and mealtime assistance
- Transport individuals to outings, appointments, and recreational activities
- Monitor home safety, health standards, and well-being of residents
- Complete and review documentation: health logs, assessments, behavior tracking
- Maintain accurate individual data notebooks and report incidents or concerns promptly
- Foster a positive, home-like environment through structure, encouragement, and consistency
RequirementsSkills and Abilities:- Ability to work cooperatively with peers and supervisors
- Adaptability to change and fast-paced environments
- Ability to present a positive image to individuals, families, and the community
- Proficiency with recordkeeping, employee management, and training systems
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to nurture others
- Proficient in reading and writing in American English
- Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Maintain assigned training competencies
- Must pass a criminal background screening and drug test
Education and Experience:- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Human Services preferred
- 2 years of experience in the ID/DD field and 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record for the past 3 years
Physical Requirements:- Ability to work in close contact with individuals requiring personal hygiene assistance
- Physically capable of lifting/transferring individuals with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
