Advanced Practice Provider for Cardiology – Denver, CO

About this role:

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Cardiology Clinic at Saint Joseph Hospital. The selected candidate will partner with 7 general and interventional cardiologists and 6 APPs to help deliver exceptional care to cardiology patients in both and inpatient and

• You would practice at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado
• You would work 4 ten hour shifts during the weekdays outpatient and inpatient, no call/no weekends
• Rounding on general and intervention cardiology patients at Saint Joseph Hospital
• Includes pre procedure work ups for CATH cases
• Remove pericardial drains, temporary pacemakers when needed
• When rounding is complete, handle follow ups in the clinic and supervise outpatient treadmill
• Manageable volume with the opportunity to work with complex cardiology patients
• Future leadership opportunities will be coming available

What you’ll bring:

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, required
• Valid license/certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in DEA and prescriptive authority, required
• BLS and ACLS, required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working as an NP or PA in a cardiology setting, required

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$56.76 - $87.59
