Job Summary

Per Diem, Days

Performs pre-employment nursing assessment on applicants; provides care and assessment for injured employees, administers vaccines in accordance with policy and good nursing practice; manages the worker's compensation program for the hospital; maintains annual PPD files for all employees; manages the day-to-day operations of the clinic; collaborates with the Infection Control Coordinator by integrating infection control/employee health activities

Qualifications

Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications    

Current Valid Florida RN Licensure
BLS Certification

Minimum Experience    

Required: 3 years experience in nursing field
Preferred: 2 years experience in Employee Health Occupational Nursing

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: CDC, NIH regulations

Organization Description

Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 536-bed acute care hospital spanning 30 acres, employing over 1,700 employees, 700 physicians and serving southern Palm Beach County for over 40 years. As both a community hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center, Delray Medical Center offers several specialized services including advanced cardiac and vascular facilities, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care and weight-loss surgery. Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital at Delray Medical Center is the only state designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in the county by the State of Florida.
