Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician

Description:
Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians.
Locum need is for the equivalent of two full-time equivalents.
Locum providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends.
Preference is for locum providers to be open to working in multiple settings.
Main campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts; affiliated locations require 12-hour shifts.
Emergency Medicine Board Certification is required.
All standard ER procedures are expected to be performed.
The support staff includes a Level II trauma center.
Transfers are made for plastics/hand, neuro IR, and pediatrics.
The average patient census is approximately 170.
Common cases include trauma (mainly blunt) and a mix of all types of patients.
Annual ER admissions are around 24%.
The unit utilizes robotic assistance in neurology and psychiatry.
The number of emergency medicine physicians typically assigned per shift varies.
