Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients’ mental health statuses utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and other clinical tools, creating individualized care plans that respect cultural diversity and address specific patient needs.

  • Continuously monitor patient progress, using evidence-based interventions and clinical strategies to support mental health diagnoses, ensuring effective symptom management and enhanced well-being.

  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment records, reports, and clinical information through our electronic health record system, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental standards.

  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning with patients and their families, establishing clear goals that reflect the patients’ needs, desires, and agreed-upon strategies for care.

  • Coordinate referrals and facilitate connections between patients and other healthcare providers, fostering a network of support and ensuring comprehensive care.

  • Offer education and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers, cultivating a supportive learning environment within our practice.

  • Participate in peer-to-peer reviews and contribute to team development by providing clinical collaboration, chart audits, and mentorship under supervision.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our community health clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges. As an LCSW, you will engage with patients from different cultural backgrounds and demographics, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to their unique needs. Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Current active LCSW license in the state of California.

  • Ability to engage in physical movements such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Previous experience working in a mental health setting with a minimum of two years is required.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated track record of developing individualized treatment plans for diverse populations, familiarity with telehealth services, and a strong understanding of mental health policies and regulations. Experience in community health settings will be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker position is competitive, starting from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually.
