This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while having a significant impact on the lives of families throughout Texas.

About the Organization

Complete and Wellness Mind Care P.C. is committed to transforming the mental health landscape by providing comprehensive youth and family support services tailored to the needs of children and teenagers with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our multidisciplinary approach combines expertise from various professionals, ensuring that families receive cohesive and effective care.

Work Environment

This position offers a dynamic and flexible work environment. Our therapists conduct sessions both in-home and within our outpatient office settings, utilizing electronic health records to manage patient information efficiently. As a remote role, therapists can create their schedules while fulfilling the needs of their clients and the organization. Collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals is essential, and regular meetings foster an integrated approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions in the home or outpatient settings.
  • Facilitate group therapy for children and families to promote social skills development and personal coping strategies.
  • Provide interventions to manage anger, reduce high-risk behaviors, and improve decision-making skills among youth and caregivers.
  • Document treatment plans, progress notes, and all relevant patient information promptly in accordance with organizational protocols.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss case progress and share treatment insights.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on providing therapeutic support to children aged 3-20 who are facing intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role is essential in meeting the unique needs of these children, enabling them to thrive in their familial and social environments.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • A master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Texas.
  • Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, preferably during after-school hours (4-7 pm). Weekend availability is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to client homes.
  • A clean criminal background, verified through a background check and fingerprinting.
Preferred Experience

We value practical experience and encourage candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior support.
  • Previous work with children and families facing behavioral challenges, particularly those with I/DD.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies that cater to diverse populations.
Compensation and Benefits

Complete and Wellness Mind Care P.C. offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust compensation package, employees are entitled to:

  • Extensive group health coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Annual paid time off to ensure work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional training and development.
  • Integration into a supportive team environment that encourages career growth.
  • Short and long-term disability coverage.
  • A 401(k) retirement plan for future financial stability.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Complete and Wellness Mind Care P.C., we are dedicated to the professional development of our employees. You will have access to continuous education and training programs designed to enhance your skills.
