As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Daybreak Counseling Center, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and ethical mental health support to adults with low-acuity needs. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering the convenience of a work-from-home setup. You will have the option to work full-time (over 30 hours per week) or part-time (over 5 hours per week), allowing you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle. Your responsibilities will include using a user-friendly telehealth platform that minimizes administrative burdens and enables you to focus on providing quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions through video chat to deliver individualized mental health support.
• Perform ongoing assessments to evaluate client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Guide clients in developing coping strategies, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques.
• Document client interactions in accordance with best practices, maintaining client confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on low-acuity adult clients who seek to improve their mental health through supportive counseling. The role emphasizes understanding the unique backgrounds and challenges they face and tailoring approaches to promote stability and resilience in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid state license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD) to provide independent counseling without supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Proficient in using digital communication tools, with a stable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate uninterrupted sessions.

Preferred Experience

While a diverse range of experiences is valued, candidates with prior experience in a remote counseling setting will be particularly well-suited for this role. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and an understanding of best practices in virtual care delivery will enhance your effectiveness as a mental health counselor at Daybreak.

Compensation and Benefits

Daybreak offers a competitive compensation package, with an annual salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with hours worked and experience. Additionally, you will receive a sign-on bonus, weekly direct deposits, and access to comprehensive insurance benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage.
