Daybreak Mental Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time, remote position. Work Environment

This position will be remote, allowing you to manage your schedule from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. While we do have a physical outpatient office located in Plano, Texas, our hybrid model facilitates enhanced client engagement through flexible telehealth options. Our operational hours run from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, ensuring a diverse working schedule that fits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to identify their unique needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Provide group, individual, couples, and family therapy sessions aimed at facilitating healing, self-discovery, and behavioral change.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to deliver holistic care to clients.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to all legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training as part of our commitment to staying at the forefront of mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and willingness to incorporate innovative techniques into practice.
