Summary:Business Manager will provide support for the lending and leasing process for both CSM Financial and Premier Leasing.Responsibilities:Provide support for the lending or leasing/rental business processCollaborate with business units and Corporate Accounting to ensure accounting accuracyLeverage CSM systems to provide decision-making information and establish accountabilityIdentify and execute process improvementsDuties:Oversee scheduled billing, recording customer payments and data entry functionsCommunicate subledger accounting to Corporate AccountingResearch, collect and analyze dataSupport leadership through comparative analysis, model building and benchmarkingPerform credit underwriting tasks including checking credit reports, credit reference checks, financial statement analysis, collateral analysis and legal background checksLead past due payment collections processStreamline customer credit application and credit approval processMaintain and enhance Power BI dashboardsTroubleshoot process issues and implement solutionsAutomate routine tasks and implement process improvementsAll other duties as assignedEducation, Skills, Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldFamiliarity with equipment sales and financing is preferred but not requiredPossess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret standardized loan documents and financial statementsMust be detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skillsAbility to manage and leverage CSM operating systems (e.g. Aspire, Fusion, relevant PFC sites, relevant PLC sites)Ability to communicate and collaborate with a professional demeanorEffective, efficient, and professional written and oral communication is requiredAbility to apply common sense, logic, and problem-solving methodologies to carry out oral and written instructionsAbility to travel when job requiresWork Environment, Physical DemandsAbility to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basisAbility to work in an environment to include 8-12 hours days with frequent exposure to weather conditions, vehicle and tool noise, and hazardous materials to include fuel, oil, grease, and cleaning solutionsCSM Job Standards Accountabilities:Customer Focus: Actively looking for ways to identify customer needs.
