We are actively hiring for a Desktop Support Technician II - Walnut Creek.


Your Role: Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal endpoint systems software and hardware. Installs, configures, and troubleshoots endpoint systems (laptop, desktop, smartphone), servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the endpoint environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.

Your Work: Responsible for the setup, operation, and support of audio-visual systems for meetings and events. Operate AV systems during meetings/events to ensure quality output. Test systems prior to use and verify functionality.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real time.

  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment. Provide end-user support for conference room / presentation. Develop training materials using AI scenarios for both technicians and end users.

  • Familiarity with Crestron and Biamp conferencing bars and Automate VX.

  • When needed and asked, provide on-site technical support for other teams i.e. Infrastructure, IT Security

  • Will be back-up for Executive Support

  • ​Incumbent acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks and assignments. Incumbent possesses moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job. Close supervision is provided involving detailed instructions and constant checking on work performance.

  • Responsible for Endpoint Support (low to medium) software and hardware incident support within service levels. Also responsible for new installations of hardware and software through the IT Service Catalog and service request process within service levels.

Required Experience, Education and Skills
  • Works from the Walnut Creek office (4-5 days/week) sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for long periods of time. Approximately 70-90 percent of time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer

  • 2-3+years of IT experience (endpoint support)

  • Experience working in and supporting a Call Center environment

  • Service Now experience preferred (ticketing system)

  • A+ certification

  • Windows 11 certifications

  • AV certifications – i.e. Avixa or Crestron

  • Excellent customer service and comfortable providing deskside support.

  • Takes initiative in assisting customers

The national average hourly rate for this position is $35.72-$39.69. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $35.72-$47.63.  This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 5% of eligible pay.
