Job description

Crystal Springs Apartments is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. Serving a well-established community of more than 400 apartment homes, you'll enjoy steady work, supportive teammates, and the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our residents every day.

What You'll Do
As part of our maintenance team, you'll help keep our community operating safely, efficiently, and beautifully by:
  • Responding to resident service requests professionally and efficiently
  • Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, electrical issues, and general building components
  • Preparing apartments for new residents through quality make-ready work
  • Performing preventative maintenance and helping maintain building systems and common areas
  • Monitoring maintenance inventory and requesting supplies as needed
  • Working closely with the maintenance and management teams to provide an outstanding resident experience
  • Participating in a rotating after-hours emergency on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values quality craftsmanship, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications include:
  • One or more years of apartment maintenance or related skilled trade experience
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical troubleshooting, and general maintenance
  • EPA Certification or HVAC experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Dependable work ethic with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule

Technicians use a mobile maintenance application on their personal smartphone to receive and complete work orders. While logged into the application during scheduled work hours, location services are used solely to support work order assignment and daily operations within the community.
