This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily tasks will include the following:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient intakes to perform diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, providing thoughtful recommendations to primary care providers regarding patient treatment goals and plans.
  • Using brief, focused intervention strategies to assist patients seeking mental health services, ensuring timely and effective support based on their immediate needs.
  • Collaborating with primary care providers to identify patients who may benefit from specialty mental health services, ensuring seamless referrals when necessary.
  • Initiating follow-up care to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies based on evolving needs.
  • Developing relapse prevention plans for patients where necessary, helping them maintain stable mental health.
  • Identifying at-risk individuals and strategizing preventative measures to avert deterioration of their mental health status.
  • Coordinating behavioral health care services, including collaboration with external providers with patient consent, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Thoroughly documenting patient interactions, treatment progress, and diagnostic information, contributing to accurate health records and treatment plans.
  • Instructing patients on self-management and coping skills, fostering their ability to take an active role in their treatment and recovery.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to clinic management regarding behavioral health initiatives and evaluations.
