Job description

AUTOMOTIVE SALES MANAGER – CRAIN KIA OF FAYETTEVILLE

Crain Kia of Fayetteville is looking for an experienced, driven Automotive Sales Manager to join our leadership team.

We are looking for more than someone who can desk deals. We want a leader who wants to build a team, develop people, hold standards, and lead from the front.

What We’re Looking For

The right candidate understands that leadership starts with presence, preparation, accountability, and consistency. You should be comfortable working alongside the sales team, coaching in real time, handling customers, structuring deals, appraising vehicles, and helping the dealership achieve its goals.

We want someone who can challenge their team while still earning their respect. Someone who understands that the success of the store comes before individual recognition and who works well as part of a unified management team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop our sales team
• Desk and structure new and pre-owned vehicle transactions
• Perform and assist with trade appraisals
• Conduct manager introductions and customer turnovers
• Work directly with salespeople to improve closing percentages
• Maintain strong CRM follow-up and accountability
• Ensure deals are complete and properly documented
• Monitor inventory, aging, pricing, and merchandising
• Help drive new and used vehicle volume and gross profit
• Maintain manufacturer and dealership process standards
• Resolve customer concerns professionally
• Participate in daily meetings and ongoing sales training
• Hold salespeople accountable while also holding yourself accountable
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Service, Parts, BDC, and senior leadership

Qualifications

• Automotive sales management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of automotive retail and deal structure
• Experience desking deals and appraising trades
• Proven ability to coach and develop salespeople
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Comfortable working with CRM and dealership technology
• Competitive, organized, and results-driven
• Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Willingness to lead by example

What We Offer

Crain Kia of Fayetteville is part of the Crain Automotive Group, providing the resources and career opportunities of a large automotive organization while allowing our local leadership team to compete and operate at a high level.

We offer:

• Competitive management compensation
• Performance-based earning opportunity
• Health and benefits options
• 401(k)
• Paid training and professional development
• Established dealership processes and technology
• Large new and pre-owned inventory
• Opportunity for advancement within the Crain Automotive Group
• A leadership team focused on growth, accountability, and winning the right way

The Person We Want

We want someone who shows up ready to lead, not simply ready to work.

If you take pride in developing people, enjoy the competitive side of the automotive business, understand the importance of accountability, and want an opportunity where your performance can create additional career opportunities, we want to talk to you.

Apply today to join the leadership team at Crain Kia of Fayetteville.
