Job description

Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for anIntegrity Compliance Operator.

This is a permanent, full-time position working a10-hour day shift on an 8-on, 6-off rotationin Montney dry gas fields located within 25 km of Dawson Creek, BC.

Job Summary

The Integrity Compliance Operator will be responsible for the safe execution of integrity programs within Montney dry gas fields located near Dawson Creek, BC.

Responsibilities

  • Performs field duties under the direction of the Lead Operator to support the safe, efficient, and timely execution of regulatory and integrity programs in accordance with established schedules and operating procedures.
  • Perform and supports activities including, but not limited to, pipeline pigging, pipeline and facility integrity inspections, water infrastructure inspections, regulatory compliance activities, field data collection, and documentation.
  • Follows safe work practices and processes, including Permit to Work, Job Site Analysis, Energy Isolation, and Stop Work requirements at well-sites and facilities.
  • Adheres to the client's HSE policies, procedures, and standards as a condition of employment.
  • Develops and maintains detailed knowledge of client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assists with the development and updating of procedures as required.
  • Submits maintenance requests in a timely and accurate manner and identifies maintenance requirements during field activities.
  • Monitors well-site equipment and performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs as required.
  • Maintains all applicable records and documentation required for regulatory compliance, HSE, integrity, and maintenance activities.
  • Submits requisitions for required supplies and monitors inventory levels of materials and equipment.
  • Maintains compliance with established work schedules and communicates any issues or delays to the Lead Operator in a timely manner.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions is required.
  • The successful candidate will be required to hold or provide:
    • WorkSafe BC account in good standing
    • GST number issued by the Canada Revenue Agency
    • Certificate of Incorporation
    • Proof of Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance
    • Proof of Automobile Liability insurance

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous oil and gas field operations, pipeline integrity, pigging, or regulatory compliance experience are considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a "Team First" mentality.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Proactive approach to safety and a strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Functional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment while following established procedures and direction from the Lead Operator.
  • This is a field-based position requiring10-hour workdays on an 8-on, 6-off rotation.
  • This position is consideredSafety Sensitive; pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.
