Overview of Unit/Department
The Rehab Therapy department in Lebanon takes pride in providing personalized care, building strong patient relationships, and celebrating progress every step of the way. You'll gain hands-on experience with a variety of cases giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and grow professionally. Beyond clinical experience, it offers a welcoming community where your work is valued and your voice is heard. Job Summary
A Physical Therapist assists patients with returning to a normal pattern of movement and functioning as possible through the use of therapeutic exercise. Patients are referred for medical and educational services as indicated. Responsible to plan and implement prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services including mobility devices, counseling and orientation that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Is responsible and accountable for managing the department with the assistance of the Outreach Manager. Responsibilities include defining the mission, goals budget and performance standards for the department to produce desired outcomes.

Job Requirements

Education:
Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Preferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Physical Therapy

Experience:
No prior experience required

Skills:
Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills required.
Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required
Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and/or techniques.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required: License of Physical Therapy active in the state of Missouri
