Pay Rate: $36.23 / Hour (Full-Time, 30+ Hours/Week)

Are you a hands-on technical problem-solver eager to work with cutting-edge technology? Comrise is seeking a disciplined, safety-focused Test Technician (EE Systems) to support vehicle operations and test mission execution in Foster City, CA.
In this role, you won't just sit behind a desk—you will be on the front lines of autonomous vehicle development. You'll work directly with onboard software and hardware, execute complex test missions, perform system log analysis, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure maximum safety and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Readiness & Ops: Launch software across multiple onboard devices, verify hardware/software configurations, and support daily fleet readiness.
Mission Execution: Conduct hands-on software and hardware testing missions both inside and outside the vehicles.
Log Analysis & Issue Tracking: Use internal tools to analyze vehicle logs, perform root cause analysis, and log defects in JIRA.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Deliver clear technical feedback to computer vision, infrastructure, and vehicle engineering teams.
Continuous Improvement: Capture operational metrics, complete readiness documentation, and refine testing workflows.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:Experience: 2+ years of experience executing complex system testing or vehicle testing, along with basic QA testing background.
Tooling: Proficient with issue-tracking platforms like JIRA / Confluence (or Azure DevOps) and standard documentation tools (Google Suite / MS Office).
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.
Flexibility: Comfortable working operational shifts based on testing needs (including early mornings, evenings, overnights, or weekends).
Mindset: A safety-first approach, a strong sense of urgency, and a collaborative team attitude.
Bonus Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):Scripting capability in Python (or another high-level programming language).
Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN bus, Ethernet).
