    Operations Specialist - Autonomous Vehicle Fleet

    Location: Las Vegas, NV (6330 W. Sunset Rd)

    Work Environment: In-person / On-site

    Expected Pay: $29.00 USD Per Hour

    Employment Type: Full-time (Contract)


    Role Overview

    Comrise is seeking an Operations Specialist to support an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company in Las Vegas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicle calibrations are up-to-date, deploying software to fleet vehicles, and ensuring the fleet is ready for daily operations. You will manually drive test vehicles to collect data, process calibration data using internal tools, and collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues.

     Available Shifts
    • 1st Shift: Saturday – Wednesday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

    • 2nd Shift: Thursday – Monday, 3:30 pm – 12:00 am


     Key Responsibilities
    • Software & Readiness: Assist with software deployment to fleet vehicles and conduct pre-mission checklists at the beginning of each day and throughout the shift.

    • Calibration Management: Work across teams to determine the calibration status of all fleet vehicles; conduct on-vehicle and offline validation.

    • Data Collection: Manually drive test fleet vehicles to collect data following upgrades or repairs.

    • Data Processing: Use internal tooling (Terminal, GUI, and version control software) to process collected data and marshal sensor calibrations.

    • Troubleshooting: Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and communicate solutions clearly.

    • Logistics & Maintenance: Ensure vehicles, equipment, and the workplace are clean and ready for use; provide logistical support for vehicle movement and storage.

    • Documentation: Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness and calibration status.


     Requirements
    • Driving Record: Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean/excellent record (zero points).

    • Technical Skills: Ability to utilize terminal-based tools and version control software.

    • Compliance: Must pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and drug screen.

    • Safety Gear: This role requires safety boots that conform to ASTM F2412 / F2413 requirements.

    • Problem Solving: Ability to quickly problem-solve in high-pressure situations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Communication: Excellent communication skills for reporting status updates across various teams.

     Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience with Git (version control).

    • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.

    • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite (especially Excel/Sheets).

    • A strong interest in fleet management and autonomous vehicle technology.
