Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients in their home environments to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement a diverse array of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to mitigate pain and improve mobility.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Regularly re-evaluate patients to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, employing evidence-based practices to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and the proper use of assistive devices to facilitate self-care and ambulation.
• Stay current with developments in the field by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and engaging in continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, chronic pain conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our home care model allows therapists to tailor interventions to the unique circumstances of each patient, promoting healing in a familiar and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• Ability to adapt and respond to the dynamic needs of patients in home health settings.
• Previous work experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not necessary. New graduates are encouraged to apply as we provide mentorship programs to help you develop your skills and confidence in the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
