The Comprehensive Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative team. Work Environment

This remote role allows for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our community health clinic. Our innovative telemedicine offerings provide both you and your clients the convenience of virtual therapy, paired with opportunities for in-person sessions. You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule within our structured framework; full-time therapists work Monday through Friday during an 8-hour day, while part-time therapists can design their hours based on team needs and personal preferences, without weekend commitments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Comprehensive Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Short Therapy to effectively address client needs.
  • Delivering therapy to diverse populations including individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting your approach as required to ensure optimal engagement and outcomes.
  • Maintaining meticulous clinical records and adhering to legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.
  • Participating in ongoing training and workshops to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, ranging from individuals facing anxiety and depression to those dealing with trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics. As part of your role, you will be instrumental in providing therapeutic support that encourages social and emotional growth, fostering resilience in clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following will enhance your application:

  • Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse counseling.
  • A robust understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing mental health practice.
  • Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

Our LPCs enjoy a generous salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually, with the potential for performance-based bonuses.
