Position Overview

Complete Balance Physical Therapy Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic orthopedic outpatient office located in Saratoga, California. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and therapeutic goals.
• Conduct and supervise therapeutic exercises, including strength training, balance exercises, and mobility enhancement techniques.
• Prepare treatment areas, ensuring equipment is sanitized, organized, and ready for use, thus maintaining a professional and efficient working environment.
• Document patient progress accurately in compliance with established protocols and assist in updating electronic medical records (EMR) through systems such as WebPT.
• Engage with patients by providing motivation and guidance throughout their therapy sessions.
• Assist with administrative responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow within the office, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Evaluate patient feedback and progress metrics to contribute to ongoing treatment plan adjustments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a PTA, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse cases, allowing you to utilize and expand your skill set in manual therapy techniques and in guiding patients in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California.
• At least two years of hands-on experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly with WebPT.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic modalities and assistive devices.
• Familiarity with patient progression metrics and outcome measures relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced clinical environment and an understanding of patient-centered care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 60,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package, including:
