Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our school partnerships. Working collaboratively with educators, parents, and community resources, you will operate in a supportive environment that values diversity and promotes teamwork. You will engage with clients virtually, ensuring they receive timely care and intervention, while balancing your schedule to accommodate various clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individual treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, focusing on effective therapeutic interventions.
• Provide clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, to clients dealing with major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and community resources to provide seamless care and ensure access to additional support services.
• Engage in crisis intervention, assisting clients as necessary and monitoring their progress through treatment and recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and developmentally appropriate screening tools to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate care plans.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions to enhance service delivery and contribute to the overall goals of the organization.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports as required by agency standards.
• Provide on-call coverage during and after program hours as needed to support clients in crisis.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents who exhibit symptoms of mental health challenges. This demographic may include students facing various stressors, such as academic pressure, familial issues, or socio-economic barriers. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for these individuals, empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kansas.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical social work, preferably in educational or community settings.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience working within a school system or with youth populations is highly valued. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and community resource navigation will also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
