Work Environment

This position is structured as a remote opportunity, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture positive, trusting relationships with clients to facilitate effective therapy sessions.
• Conduct thorough diagnoses of mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the specific needs of clients.
• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to promote healing and coping strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress through ongoing assessments—using tools like progress notes and standardized measures to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Refer clients to specialized services when appropriate, ensuring they receive holistic care that addresses all dimensions of their health.
• Engage in regular communication with multidisciplinary team members to review patient progress and adapt treatment strategies collaboratively.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on current best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The candidate will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and addiction. Qualifications

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients through empathy and effective communication.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic methodologies and the capacity to apply interventions in real-time during therapy sessions.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, willing to work alongside other mental health professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in addiction counseling is highly regarded, especially within a community healthcare framework.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Previous experience in outpatient clinical settings, with demonstrated success in maintaining flexible and responsive therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

Compass Professional Health Care offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, contingent upon experience and education. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
