Compass Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in West Hartford, Connecticut. Work Environment

This position requires an onsite presence, where you'll work primarily in a home care setting. This unique environment allows you to work directly with patients in the comfort of their own homes, fostering strong therapeutic relationships that improve treatment efficacy. Your weekly schedule will be Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours, promoting work-life balance and the opportunity to focus on patient needs without the weekend rush.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Compass Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals recovering from injuries, those managing chronic illnesses, and patients seeking rehabilitation after surgery. Your role will be pivotal in assessing physical capabilities, developing personalized therapy plans, and monitoring progress, all while fostering an atmosphere of trust and encouragement that facilitates healing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent field.
• Active physical therapy license in the state of Connecticut.
• Current CPR certification at the time of hire.
• No prior job experience required, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates.
• Able to remain composed and professional amidst frequent interruptions.
• Dependable, flexible, and open to change, demonstrating a teamwork-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Preferred Experience

• While no previous job experience is necessary, familiarity with patient-centered care models or experience in similar rehabilitation settings may be beneficial.
