Work Environment

This position is based at our outpatient office in Edison, New Jersey, where you will work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. The full-time schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and patient goals, utilizing various treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and enhance collaborative care.
  • Provide continuous education to patients and their families regarding conditions, treatment techniques, and home exercise programs to facilitate better outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership by mentoring and supporting junior staff and interns in their professional development.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes using our practice management software, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards, contributing positively to the patient experience and departmental effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or managing chronic conditions. Your compassionate and tailored approach will be vital in supporting each patient's unique challenges and aspirations, allowing them to regain independence and improve quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Current physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Current CPR certification at the time of hire.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills necessary to manage patient caseload effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact confidently with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in using healthcare management systems.
Preferred Experience
  • While no prior related work experience is required, a demonstrated passion for patient care and rehabilitation is essential.
  • Experience working in outpatient settings is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
  • A desire to engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and training opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
